Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of REDZONEPicks.app (the "Service"), operated by The VG Group ("REDZONEPicks.app," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, joining a pool, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account or serve as a pool commissioner. The Service is not directed to children under 13.
2. Description of Service
REDZONEPicks.app is a web-based platform that lets a "commissioner" create and run an NFL pick'em pool for a group of players. Players select a projected winner (or, depending on the pool's scoring format, a confidence ranking, key picks, or capped point values) for NFL games each week. The Service tracks picks, computes standings based on the pool's chosen scoring rules, and provides tools for the commissioner to manage membership, deadlines, and communication within the pool.
3. Entertainment Purposes Only; Not Gambling
REDZONEPicks.app sells access to a software platform for a one-time hosting fee - it does not accept wagers, does not operate as a sportsbook, does not collect pool entry fees, does not hold prize money, and does not distribute prizes. The only payment REDZONEPicks.app itself processes is the one-time hosting fee described in Section 5 below.
Some commissioners choose to arrange an entry fee, prize pool, or payout directly with the players in their own pool. Any such arrangement is made entirely outside the Service, between the commissioner and their group - REDZONEPicks.app does not process, collect, hold, track, or distribute that money in any way and is not a party to it. REDZONEPicks.app makes no representation as to whether any such arrangement is lawful in a particular jurisdiction. Anyone considering such an arrangement is solely responsible for determining and complying with the law that applies to them; nothing in these Terms or elsewhere on the Service should be read as REDZONEPicks.app confirming, endorsing, or guaranteeing the legality of any private arrangement.
4. NFL Affiliation Disclaimer
REDZONEPicks.app is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise associated with the National Football League ("NFL"), any NFL team, or NFL RedZone. This is a statement of non-affiliation only - it does not itself grant, and should not be read as claiming, any trademark license or other permission from the NFL or any team.
The Service identifies NFL teams and games using team names and abbreviations (for example, "Dallas Cowboys" or "DAL") strictly for descriptive and identification purposes - the same way sports scores and schedules are reported elsewhere - not as a claim of sponsorship or endorsement. The Service does not display NFL, team, or NFL RedZone logos or other branded marks. Game schedules, scores, and related data are drawn from a third-party sports data source (see our Privacy Policy for details).
5. Hosting Fees & Payment
Creating a pool requires payment of a one-time hosting fee (currently $19.99) for that pool's season, charged to the commissioner through our third-party payment processor, Stripe. Every pool includes a free trial through the end of Week 2 of that season, during which no payment is required; the hosting fee becomes due starting Week 3, and a pool whose fee remains unpaid past that point may be locked until it's paid. 6. Accounts & Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
7. Electronic Communications
By creating an account, you consent to receive service-related electronic communications from REDZONEPicks.app, including account verification, password reset, and account security notices, and, where enabled by a pool's commissioner, pick reminder notices and pool-wide messages for a pool you've joined. These are operational, service-related communications necessary for the Service to function - not marketing. Any pool message sent by a commissioner (such as a Commish's Corner update or a reminder notice) is that commissioner's own communication to their pool, not a communication from REDZONEPicks.app.
8. Commissioner Responsibilities; Platform Role
REDZONEPicks.app provides the software platform only. A pool's commissioner - not REDZONEPicks.app - controls that pool: its settings (scoring format, deadlines, tiebreakers, contact requirements, and similar), its membership and roster, its written rules, and any arrangement made with players outside the Service, such as an entry fee or prize (see Section 3). REDZONEPicks.app is not a party to, does not oversee, and assumes no responsibility for disputes between a commissioner and the players in their pool, or for how a commissioner chooses to run their pool.
9. User Conduct
You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; harass, threaten, or abuse other users, including in the Trash Talk message board or any pool communication feature; attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account or to any part of the Service not intended for you; interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation; or use automated means to access the Service outside of normal use.
10. User Content
Any content you submit through the Service (such as Trash Talk posts, pool rules text, or announcements) remains yours, but you grant REDZONEPicks.app a license to host, display, and transmit that content as necessary to operate the Service. You are solely responsible for content you submit and represent that you have the right to post it.
11. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, and REDZONEPicks.app branding, is owned by The VG Group and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license to use the Service as intended, no rights are granted to you in our intellectual property.
12. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on certain third-party providers to operate, including a payment processor for hosting fee payments, an email delivery provider, and a source of publicly available NFL schedule and score data. See our Privacy Policy for the specific providers we use. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of these third-party services.
13. Game Data & Scoring Accuracy
Schedules, scores, and standings on the Service are computed from a third-party sports data source that REDZONEPicks.app does not control and cannot guarantee is complete, accurate, delivered without delay, or continuously available. REDZONEPicks.app makes reasonable efforts to keep this data current but does not guarantee it, and is not liable for any consequence arising from an error, delay, or interruption in that data. A pick, score, or standing shown on the Service reflects the data available to the Service at the time - it does not override, and is not an authoritative record of, any team's official game result.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or that we believe is harmful to other users or to the Service. You may stop using the Service, or leave a pool you have joined, at any time.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, REDZONEPicks.app and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including any dispute over an entry fee or prize arranged outside the Service.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless REDZONEPicks.app and its operators from any claim or demand arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
18. Changes to the Service
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes affecting active pools.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
21. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
22. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and REDZONEPicks.app regarding the Service.
